Some evenings ask you to move what you have been carrying. Others ask you to be still. On Mondays, breath leads the way. On Wednesdays, long, quiet postures do. Both close in the same place, held by the sound of the bowls.

SOMATIC BREATHWORK & SOUND
Sixty minutes to breathe and be carried. Guided somatic breathwork moves what the body has been holding, and then the Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls® settle you back into stillness.
With Islay Akhaloui (FR/EN). A Mind-Body Therapist and Somatic Energetics practitioner, Islay weaves breath, movement and sound to guide you out of survival mode and back into the vitality of the heart.

WEDNESDAYS · 19:00–20:00
YIN & SOUND
An evening to slow all the way down. Long, quiet yin postures soften the body, and the bowls carry the mind to stillness. No yoga experience is needed. Nothing to prepare. Nothing to prove.
With Alexandra Chow (FR/EN). Alexandra found yoga through her mother twenty years ago, deepened into yin and sound healing in India, and trained in crystal bowls here at AKI with Shannon van Staden and Lama Brian Hilliard.

THE CLASS PASS
For those who want sound woven into the rhythm of the week. Use it for either class, on any date.
- 5 classes: €125, €25 a class, to use within 3 months
- 10 classes: €220, €22 a class, to use within 5 months
Your classes are added to your account the moment you buy. Log in with the same email when you book, and your place is covered at checkout. If the studio closes for a holiday, we extend your pass by the same length.
THE STUDIO
Light through tall windows, shelves of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls®, and a mat laid out for you. Avenue Oscar van Goidtsnoven 3, Brussels.
BEFORE YOU COME
None. Both classes begin at the beginning, and every posture and breath is guided. Come as you are.
Nothing but yourself. Mats, bolsters, blankets and all the props are here. Wear soft, comfortable layers.
Doors open at 18:30, with herbal tea waiting. Please arrive by 18:50 so we can begin together at 19:00.
Both classes are taught in French and English.
Choose 5 classes for €125 or 10 classes for €220. They are added to your account the moment you buy. When you book, log in with the same email and one place per date is covered at checkout, for either class. The pass is personal to you.
Of course. Book a place for each of you on the same evening. Your pass covers your own place.
Write to us at hello@akisoundstudio.com at least 24 hours before. With a Class Pass, the class returns to your pass. Late cancellations are charged in full.
