Shannon will share her artistry and unique technique of playing the bowls. You will have the chance to practice playing the alchemy crystal bowls, and there will be time for Q&A’s. The last hour is for browsing the sound studio.

CAPE TOWN: LEVEL 1 POWER OF SOUND HEALING TRAINING
ABOUT THE EVENT
Following a sold-out sound journey hosted at Lighthouse Holistic in August 2025, AKI Sound Studio returns to South Africa to present its Foundational Level 1: The Power of Sound Healing Training. This marks the first time AKI’s certified Level 1 Training is being offered in this collaborative South African setting, bringing the studio’s most sought-after foundational immersion to Cape Town.
Guided by Lama Brian Hilliard and Shannon van Staden, the training blends theory, embodied practice, and energetic transmission, uniting the science of sound with the alchemy of transformation. Over two days, participants will work closely with Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls®, developing both technical skill and intuitive understanding, while gaining the confidence to apply sound healing in personal, therapeutic, or professional contexts. This return reflects the resonance built during AKI’s previous event in Cape Town, now deepened through a focused, in-depth training experience.

Yin & Sound Healing

Unit price perJoin Shannon and Eloïse for a soft and grounding summer afternoon, created to help you slow down, reset, and reconnect. We’ll begin with a welcoming circle before exploring the world of sound, crystal singing bowls, voice, and how frequency can support deep relaxation and balance. Shannon and Eloïse will guide a nourishing Yin practice, offering gentle poses to open the body and invite stillness.
From there, you’ll be led into a fully immersive sound healing journey, co-led with layered instruments and voice, designed to help you settle into a deeply restorative state. We’ll close with time for questions, sharing, and reflection.
An accessible, calming experience for anyone curious about Yin, sound, or simply in need of a mindful pause. No prior experience required.
