Caring for your Alchemy bowl
You have welcomed something rare into your home. Each Alchemy bowl is shaped by hand from the purest crystal and precious gems, tuned to a single frequency, and made only once. Cared for with intention, it will hold its voice for a lifetime, and long outlast us, ready one day to be passed to the next pair of hands. Here is how to keep it well.
How to keep it well
Always lift your bowl straight up and out of its bag with both hands, drawing from beneath, never by the rim, where its tuning lives. When you move with it, move slowly, holding it in two hands as you would something alive. It is heavier, and more delicate, than it appears.
Set it down only on its O-ring, so it sits level and secure and can never roll. Give it a home where you practise, in view, so it calls you to play, or a higher shelf, safe from curious children and animals. Keep it clear of hard edges and crowded surfaces, where a single knock could leave its mark.
To clean, wipe gently with a soft cloth, barely damp, and dry at once. Or simply dust with a dry cloth between sittings. Nothing more: no soaps, no chemicals, nothing abrasive. Handled with clean hands and a light touch, your bowl will stay clear and luminous for years.
Your bowl holds vibration, and with it, intention. From time to time, set it in soft morning sunlight or beneath the moon, and let its energy clear and renew. Many make this a ritual of its own, at each new moon, or after a deep session, a moment to thank the bowl for its work.
Your bowl is handmade and one of a kind; should anything befall it, it cannot be exactly remade. We gently suggest insuring it, as you would any precious piece. And when you travel, carry it in its padded case, held close, never checked, never out of your care.
Tended with love, your Alchemy bowl becomes more than an instrument. It becomes an heirloom, a keeper of your practice, and one day, a gift to someone you love. Thank you for giving it a home.
